aahhh….ok I think I see. You mean synchronize the visibility of the respective flip layers in the individual comps. So layer 4 in comp A would be visible at the same time as layer 5 in comp B and for the same duration?….I think I follow you.

I think I follow you and will try this in a second. But in this step:
“Now in these comps, place the layers in chronological order so that layer one cuts out when you would want it to, layer 3 cuts out etc, etc…”
Are you saying to stagger the frames of each layer? Is it possible to post a quick sample of your example?

The first part of my question was answered by someone from DA, and it seems that Text Anarchy is setup to only vary characters. Jim went on to say that I can use multiple instances to fake what i am after. Going to try that, just wanted to post this just in case someone searches or has the same problem.

Also willing to hear any other suggestions.

Playing with text matrix now. It seems everything is based on the character and not the words. Like when I set the random opacity it sets it per character. And I cannot seem to figure a way to set it per word. Anyone have some experience with this plugin and can help me? Other than that is seems to be the right tool for the job. but I want to make sure before I buy it.

Would this still work with sound keys? Also is there a better plugin or method to do what i am trying? Basically I want the logo to seems to be made up of sand particles that are disrupted when the large boom sounds then form back.

Also I notice that sound keys totally blows the logo apart and it seems there is no way to control it from doing that, any ideas? I will try these solutions as well.

you could also do a batch compression on the resulting jpg image sequence, that my free up som mb’s also do a squeeze n a resulting QT movie. But yes Siwft would be a good way to go. I use Lightwave with the swift plugin and I can get good 3d stuff at a low cost.
