Did you try to use (time remap).. select your video and chose Ctr+Alt+T then turn on (Frame Blending) on switches ,or try to use timewarp… effect > Time > Timewarp

Hi … if there is no movement in your camera (Still shot)
that is verey easy put first frame with the actor and put over that layer the same actor with a diffrent passes and mask the stress in on body contact between the two actors manual and key it frame by frame

Hi … the size of your AVI depend on what you want ( No compresion , Microsoft DV AVI , or your Editing card format , if you want use other format like QT and select the Format option (JPEG2000 or fotoJEPG), if that its not what you want then select MPEG 2 and make the Format option full qulity and you will get 500 k by sec

I didn’t get what you want exactly but i think you want to put text to certian point in that clip , and you can do that by Motion tracking this point and applying this tracking on your text .
second if you want to make the same thing in Heroes-episode you should put your text in any place you want and then copy the clip and move it up to the text then mask the place you want your text to be hiden behaind.

Hi … yes i think the Wiggle is the best way to do that shaking but dont use expression use the wiggle from window and make tow keys start and end select them make the frequency 25 and magnitude 15 then apply ,or you should make it menual by position ,rotate and scale

Trapcode Particular is the best way to make dust but its depend on how to use it .
