  • Making a logo “slam” into place?

Posted by Kenny Meade on February 15, 2008 at 9:06 pm

I’m lost on how to approach a project and was hoping someone “out here” could suggest how best I could do it…at least nudge me in the right direction!

What I want to do is use Zaxwerks 3D Invigorator in AE to create a logo that falls from out of frame (“behind” the camera) and sort-of “slams” down into place (on like, a tile floor or something of that nature). But when it slams it needs to have that little shaking effect on it (or perhaps the whole screen shakes). Do I need to use a wiggle expression and some motion blur? Or is there some other, better method that I’m missing?

Also, I have Trapcode Particular and it would be nice to have a little puff of dust fly out from under the logo when it hits. I assume Particular would be the best tool for this part?

    Any inspiration is greatly appreciated!

Hi … yes i think the Wiggle is the best way to do that shaking but dont use expression use the wiggle from window and make tow keys start and end select them make the frequency 25 and magnitude 15 then apply ,or you should make it menual by position ,rotate and scale

Trapcode Particular is the best way to make dust but its depend on how to use it .
