Hi, I love this tutorial and have followed most of it to create my own effect.

I took my son and daughter out and filmed them on their bicycles.

I have imported footage and followed through the masking process.

Getting stuck at the point where you anchor the SOLID to the FOOTAGE. I am using AE 6.5.1.

I can find the ANCHOR on solid and POSITION on footage but I cant find the drag tool (name doesnt come to mind at moment) to link them.

Fantastic, to the point but answers the question.

The footage shot on my on DV camera is always in sinc as I never compress it.

Thanks for your help, I never thought of converting it but thats what I have done and everything works fine now, I will save so much time!

Have now found time remapping on After Effects and am making slow progress with that.

Hi, I found this to be useful and used it to place markers at the points I want along the audio timelime.

My problem is that when I ram preview the project, the markers are in the wrong places! Am I doing anything wrong?

Excellent, this is great, I have managed to get project to 2 parts by fading directly to STILL – creating chapter point where music starts and set ‘END’ function to link back to chapter point. This cuts out the first flicker between the original first and second part of the project (Fade in INTRO + STILL)

I can do the override for each option so thats ok.

Can I get rid of (or camouflage) the flicker between STILL and ANIMATED TRANSITION which are now on 2 separate timelines?
