Brad: from version 10 to 11 they simplified the options of this feature of vegas, but for me it was a bad choice. To turn off the stabilization just bypass the plug-in in MediaFx window. Here I encountered flicker in the rendered mpg file. In version 10 was great.

[Bill Stephan] “DVD is either 29.97 or 25fps interlaced. A 24P encode is done as 29.97 interlaced with flags for the 3:2 pulldown.”
OK, so if I recorded a wedding with my Sony NX5 using FullHD 24 progressive, then edit in Vegas in FullHD 24 progressive, and render to template DVD Archtect 24p NTSC Widescreen video stream. What fps will be my final video before archtect: 29.97 or 23.976(with pulldown)?
And after I put this video on Archtect to create menu and burn a DVD, will it necessary be converted in 29.97i?

Thanks Matt,
Yesterday I´ve reinstall Vegas to try resolve this “bug”
Believe me, even if you reinstall Vegas, the windows dropped out of the Vegas window continue out there! My VideoFX and Ultimate were under the taskbar.

February 24, 2011 at 7:47 pm in reply to: annoying lines when camera moves in sony vegasAlways a picture in the timeline appears in the Project window, the inverse don´t. You can have a picture in Project Window and don´t use it in the Timeline.
See if the track isn´t Mutted or other track in solo.
Maybe you are using some plugin that makes the image black and are with the FX Bypass turned on… in this case, you will see the playback in vegas but after render the plugin that turn image black will work and you will not see nothing in the rendered clip.
What is the codec you are using to render?
Is the created video a mpeg, avi, mov or wmv… ?Open the video rendered in vegas and see if it appears.
Check the Video Stream if it is Offline.Márcio Nascimento

Hi mike
Does’nt make any difference if I render 5 seconds or 1 hour.
In the project I’m trying two options:
NTSC DV Widescreen (720×480; 29,970 fps) Lower Field First
HDV 1080-60i (1440×1080; 29,970 fps) Upper Field FirstMy clips ware capture in Vegas, from my Canon Vixia HV30 1440×1080 60i like my source footage
The Properties of each clip was Upper Field First
I’m seeing this in the file rendered. So, after burn the DVD, too.
Thanks!
