    It’s the free version.
I really don’t have enough resources for better cameras and complex systems. Until a few months ago I was using Sony Vegas to edit my events.
Now I bought a 2019 Macbook Pro and decided to install DaVinci Resolve. I really liked the software, but I’m just having this problem. See, the files from all the other cameras I’ve used, even simpler than 6d, worked fine. even other 6d files worked fine. I really don’t know what’s going wrong that he’s not considering/finding these files when importing the XML project.
It says that could not be found more than 100 files in the folder, but they are there.
and I can’t select to have the offline file replaced with another one.
The Offline files, although video, is appearing as audio.
The topics 1 and 2 I already use that.
Should I use DaVinci to trancode the files? (Topic 3)

  • So, If i want to burn a Blu-ray disc with maximum possible quality using DVD Archtect…

I recorded a wedding with Canon 6D and Canon T5i. It means high video bitrates.

I rendered in vegas mainconcept FullHD 24p 40Mbit but Archtect warned me: “The overall bit rate is greater than 28 Mbps. The overall bit rate of the specified file is too high for burning Blu-ray onto a DVD.”

My answer: “- I know that Archtect… I´m not trying to burn Blu-ray onto a DVD. I´m working on a Blu-ray Disk project.”

So… searching in Archtect´s Help, I found: “If your project’s target media size is 25 or 50 GB and you choose to continue, your title may not play properly in some players.”

    My questions:
    1. Is the Help talking about DVD players or Blu-ray Players?
    2. What means “DVD” for Archtect? Does it mean both types of media (DVD and Bluray)? Cause I never saw DVD with 25 or 50Gb, only Blu-ray.
    3. Should I use 28 Mbps in MainConcept when rendering in Vegas?

    Thanks!

This is the expanded track mode (AxB)
For example, you have two events in timeline.
In normal mode, when you cross event one over the event two the event two disappear gradually, or if you have enabled auto crossfade they mix one with another.
With this expanded mode enabled you can see that two events in two “virtual tracks”. That way you can see the disappeared part of the event two, so maybe you find a better image in comparison with you had used before and decide if you want to change the position in the timeline to show this instead the first edition…or maybe you can let this to see if you want to use later…

  • A double-click in the red line (at the edge of the event) will back to normal mode.
