July 2, 2024 at 4:36 pm in reply to: AE Spell Checker Script

From what I am checking, I am not finding a direct free version of spellcheck for Adobe After Effects. There seems to be a demo version here if you want to try out: https://aescripts.com/after-spell/

All links I found leads to the aescripts website to purchase it for $9.99 nor will I say any illegal way to obtain the software. But I believe if you want to get around it, you can use third party spelling and grammar checker such as Grammarly or Hemingway to check your text before importing them into your composition. Good luck and hope this helps a bit.

It seems that you are not the only one with this issue. Many people in the vegascreativesoftware forums are also reporting similiar issues. Perhaps this link I found may give you some new ideas on how to fix this: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-colorization-plug-in-not-working-vegas-pro-18–123024/

The last answer there might be pretty useful. Hope it helps! 🙂

Have you tried playing around with the video resolution or preset to fix the lagging issues? Sometimes I notice this happening to me as well. Here are some of the steps you can follow to see if it helps your video preview improve upon the lag:

    1. Disable hardware acceleration in the settings. You can access the settings by right-clicking on the preview window and selecting “Preferences”. Uncheck the “Enable GPU Acceleration of Video Preview” option.
    2. Disable any third-party plugins or extension that may affect the preview. These could be causing conflicts.
    3. Clear the “Render Cache” in Vegas Pro. You can do this by right-clicking on the preview window and selecting “Clear Render Cache”.
    4. Revert to an earlier version of Vegas Pro. You can do this by downloading an earlier build from the Vegas Pro download page.

Hopefully one of these steps will help you solve the lagging issue. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Hello! if you are looking to achieve a similar Metallic Sheen Effect in After Effects, you can try these following steps to see if it works out for you incase you have not yet:

    1. Apply the Turbulent Noise effect to a solid layer in your composition.
    2. Precompose the solid layer, then add the CC Glass effect to the precomp. Adjust the glass settings to get the desired level of distortion and refraction.
    3. Add a Brightness & Contrast effect to the precomp and adjust the brightness and contrast settings to taste.
    4. Duplicate the precomp layer and adjust the opacity or blend mode to create a more dense or lighter effect.
    5. If needed, adjust the layer position to center the effect on the background.

I hope these steps will help you achieve the desired effect. Good luck with your project! Its always good to experiment and play around with it to see what works best for you!

In that case, it seems to be an issue with the current version of the software. Hopefully the next update can resolve these issues.

Actually yes, I believe there are a few ways you can go about achieving this effect without having to buy this template. Here are the two possible approaches:

    1. Create a circular mask in After Effects: Add a shape layer to a composition in After Effect and create a circle shape using the Pen tool. Apply a “Mask” effect to the circle and set the mask to the shape layer with the same circle. Animate the position and shape of the mask to create the effect of numbers moving around a circle.
    2. Use the “Echo” Effect: Apply an “Echo” effect to a layer with the same circular shape and set the echo length to the desired number of frames. Animate the position of the layer to create the effect of numbers moving around a circle. You can use a null object to control the position of the layer and animate it along the circle.

I hope these suggestions help. Good luck with your project! If anything else, you can let me know!
