From what I am checking, I am not finding a direct free version of spellcheck for Adobe After Effects. There seems to be a demo version here if you want to try out: https://aescripts.com/after-spell/

All links I found leads to the aescripts website to purchase it for $9.99 nor will I say any illegal way to obtain the software. But I believe if you want to get around it, you can use third party spelling and grammar checker such as Grammarly or Hemingway to check your text before importing them into your composition.
