Yes. InDesign has styles so “can you change all the Crew Names to all caps, make the special names Blue and make the spacing between lines a little bigger” should be possible with some twiddling of styles. The only problem is the initial setup of a document’s vertical size.

Short-attention-span-instant-gratification crowd is quite big. It makes sense to cater to them if you’re after the numbers.

Alexa clips have Reel Name embedded.
How old is your footage? Mine is from 2010 so if yours is newer they should’ve fixed this codec bug in camera firmware.

Export from timeline works fine though.

FCP handling 24@25 film workflow was implemented after Apple was presented with a very comprehensive white paper and petition with a long list of signatures. This played out very well when DI became widespread.

Technology didn’t kill Kodak. Kodak was one of the leaders in digital imaging. (Mis)management killed Kodak.

DV/NTSC came with FCP 1.0. Then 1.2.5 brought DV/PAL. That was the first version I could use for paying jobs.

I quit building elaborate folder structures long time ago. For any given project I have “Original Camera Footage”, “Production Sound”, “Workprint”, “M&E”, “GFX” and “Deliverables” all on the same level and without any subfolders inside. Works just fine for a30 sec spot and a 2-hour feature. I paid Videotoolshed to make an app that timestamps my “workprint” with the same time the original has and I fill in slate numbers in an NLE — it gives me enough metadata to find my way around the footage.
