You likely do not have the correct video codec installed on your system. Gspot is a free app that can reveal the codec…likely Motion Jpeg or DIVX. Let us know what you discover. -
What are the properties of your source music?? Mp3s can be troublesome and you may need to convert them to wave files before using them in a sequence.

You need to create a new sequence with settings that match your source. In the New Sequence window, ignore the Presets and click on the General tab. Set the Editing mode to Desktop and the rest of the settings to match your source.
Sorenson 3 is an antiquated codec, suggest H264. -

Does uninstalling QT fix things? If so try an earlier version.
“Profile” might refer to user profile. Try creating a new user for Windows and log into it and try exporting? -
WHat camera are you using?
Typically audio with right channel only is the result of using an external mic or audio source that is only one channel. The “Fill Left” audio effect should result in filling the left channel. Correct volume is determined using the Audio Master Meter or the Audio Mixer. -
The video format of this camera is AVCHD and has been around for several years in consumer cameras. CS4 supports this format, although editing it requires a lot of horse power and RAM to edit…3.0 Quad core with 6+ GIGS of ram on Vista or W7 64 bit OS.
What I find interesting is a 3 chip AVCHD $4k camera. I would hesitate to buy such a camera and consider the HDV Pro cameras in this price range or the XDCAM cameras for a bit more.
I am interested in what others think about this. -
Multiplexing is a choice in Export Settings…None means audio and video will not be “Muxed” or combined in the export.
