Eddie, I think the complete box is coming from the Aspect Ratio setting in his DVD player. The other setting would stretch the .9 par pixels and the image.

Suspect you chose a Widescreen Project preset and imported 4:3 video into it.

After Effects can export a movie of timecode using one of it’s effects. Overlay it on your movie in Premiere.

8.9″ screen, 1.6 Ghz processor, 5400 RPM drive…fine for email and Word if you can read the screen. I doubt it would be useful for Dreamweaver much less Premiere.

Check the Help files for details on the Project Manager.

Check Add/Remove Programs to see if it is listed there. Check Premiere’s plug-in folder. Do a Windows search for DVFilm.

Premiere’s preview files are not used in any export in CS3.
Premiere does not convert HDV but uses horsepower to play the timeline…minimum is 2.4 Core Duo. Main Concept has a way to preview with lower horse power, but does not convert to an intermediate format like Cineform. -
I think you will need the Main Concept HD plug-in for Premiere that has Smart Rendering to avoid a rerender. Mpeg 2 is not like DV.

Do you have a trial version of DVFilm installed as a plug-in?

Exporting at 1920×1080 takes about 4 times longer than 1440×1080 on my PC.
I suspect one needs a couple of Quad cores to export HD like SD on and old P4 HT.
