Adobe Premiere Pro and work drive settings

Partitions dont help thoughput, but I doubt your hard drive configuration is causing your issue.
What are your Project Settings? What is the properties of your source video? What are your export settings?

Export settings :

Adobe Media Encoder
Format : QuickTime
Export video, export Audio
Video Codec H.264
1920×1080
25 frames/sec
square pixels (1.00)
Debit : 7680 Kbit/sec

Exporting at 1920×1080 takes about 4 times longer than 1440×1080 on my PC.
I suspect one needs a couple of Quad cores to export HD like SD on and old P4 HT.
