I shot an interview with a 720p HD camera (i think) onto P2 cards. When i import the footage a caption reading “DVFilm” appears on the picture in 5 places, and won’t go away. How do I get this to dissapear?

Do you have a trial version of DVFilm installed as a plug-in?

Check Add/Remove Programs to see if it is listed there. Check Premiere’s plug-in folder. Do a Windows search for DVFilm.
What are the details of your Project Settings?

I checked add/remove.. theres nothing. I can’t find the plug-in folder, and nothing is showing up when I do a windows search. It is a cracked version of Adobe, because it was only for a school project. Maybe its a problem passed over from the programs owner?

[Christine Gairns] “because it was only for a school project.”

So I could rob a bank if it’s only for a school project? You need a better lawyer.

I wouldnt pay $800 for something I may only potentially use once.

But thank you for the advice.

I tried to use the trail version to begin with, but it wouldnt support HD. So thats why I got the crack because I was under a tight deadline. I tried going about it the legal way!

[Christine Gairns] “I wouldnt pay $800 for something I may only potentially use once.”

There is a trial version to legally try it, even once.

[Christine Gairns] “But thank you for the advice.”

I gave no advice, especially not legal advice, since I’m not alawyer.

    Cheers
