It is likely that you dropped video frames on capture, leaving you with shorter video than audio. premiere should have informed you. Watching the footage should reveal the video problem…repair your computer and recapture.

Do you have Quicktime Player installed…if not try that (free), it might fix Premiere.

What version of Premiere are you using? It is likely that the audio is Dolby. C4 can handle that, but CS3 can be made to handle that.

This is not a problem unless you plan to entertain some one in your editing suite and show them stills.

What camera shot the source video?
What format is the source video DV, HDV…?
Which Adobe timeline…CS3 and CS4 Premiere cannot burn a DVD. -
I have seen this with several Mp4 (h264) files and had to use QT Pro to export a separate .wav file for Premiere. I think my source files were from a still camera.

Brightness and contrast is a pretty weak and limited tool.
Understanding the features of the 3 Way Color Corrector can give you a lot more control of the look of video. -

1. Really strange output resolution; 853×480. Not sure what your target is but resolution should be divisible by 16.
2. Quality setting of 100 can actually compromise smooth motion.
3. Your output is interlaced…no TV can handle your resolution.Suspect #1 is you main problem.
