Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!

    I don’t & won’t – like I said I will go forward one way or another.

Thank Russ, do you know this for a fact?

I wish everyone would get a MAC and just watch QuickTime movies. That won’t happen either.
I still have clients that want VHS tapes for heavens sake. Some clients are just arriving at the DVD threshold. Most clients understand that watching HD video can be done with most computers.
But for the Indie producer – distributing on Blu-Ray is becoming the norm. I have a few calls a week from producers wanting Blu-Ray. They will get it done with or without Apple’s help. I just want to know if Apple will support Blu-Ray or not? If not fine then I know what I need to do.

I won’t jump ship – I may just upgrade my Vegas app to see if it is worthy.
After using MACS for a few years I hate turning on my PC!! LOL

No, my point was the new features that Vegas will have.

Apple really needs to get on with offering Blu-Ray authoring.
I have tried using Encore on my MAC but I hate it.
I used to use Vegas until I switched over to Final Cut.

I may upgrade the Vegas just to get the Blu-Ray and native
    RED editing…..

Should I upgrade to CS4 now – so I can start authoring Blu-Ray??
Clients are finally asking about Blu-Ray and I don’t have a response.

    Then try trashing your prefs.

    But as Shane noted.
Raylight works with P2 folders on harddrives.

    Look at

    http://www.dvfilm.com

    Raylight for the MAC.

I have not used Log & Transfer in quite awhile.
Using Raylight takes seconds and you save
hard drive space and all that time Transfering.
