Render your video as MPEG-2 and your audio as AC-3. Check the total size of the two files. As long as they’re under the 4.3 GB. limit, you’re OK.
DVDA has a LONG history of incorrectly reporting the file size. As long as you know that you’re under the limit, ignore the warning and click Next. My guess (and it happens to me a lot too) is that DVDA will proceed as if nothing is wrong 🙂 -

Markers in Vegas automatically become chapter points in Vegas.
If this is a single video and all you want is the ability to jump forward or backward, you don’t need to do anything.
If you want to have an on screen menu for your chapters, then you have some work to do.
Look for my replies in the following thread as I get into a lot of detail on how I do this. My apologies for the double posting in the very long reply.

Grazie, if you have Sound Forge Pro 11, it now has a loudness metering option. I have no clue how to use it nor do I (thankfully!!) have to worry about it but it’s there if you need it.

Michel, I have no idea why you needed to spend the money on the MainConcept browser.
I use the free Sony XDCAM EX Clip Browser to rewrap the MP4 footage from my JVC HM-750.
I just tried a quick test shooting at 1280×720@30p, 1440×1080@60i and 1920×1080@60i and 30p.
I used the Clip Browser to rewrap the clips to MXF format and all the clips came in at their native resolution. -

Pixel Aspect Ratio. You’re NTSC so it’s either 0.9091 (standard) or 1.2121 (Widescreen)

Gilles, I’ve never used the ProType Titler so I can’t comment on it’s quality.
What I can say is that high quality text has never been an issue with the Vegas developers. I had a 3rd party titler back in my Amiga days and it was far better than anything currently available for Vegas 🙁
