Drop the video event (what Vegas calls a clip) on your timeline.
Add the audio event below it, sync it up (to the existing audio if you have it), select all the events by clicking and shift+clicking them and press the ‘g’ key to group them together so that act as one event. -
Options – Prefs – Editing. Select the Collapse loop region when no time selection is present option.

Rob, I’m glad to introduce a new Vegas tool to you 🙂
I’ve been a Vegas user for several years and have never used that particular feature. When you told me what you wanted to do in your reply, I remembered it and went searching for John’s tutorial as I knew it would do the job for you.

Rob, you need to use Parent Motion for this project. If you’ve never tried it before, John Rofrano has a great tutorial on his site that will walk you through it.

You’ll need to add some keyframes to the logo track using Track Motion but it’s not hard to do.
I just tried it on a 10 track test project (9 stills and a logo on top) and it worked great!! Good luck. -
Is your logo 1920 x 1080 or larger? If it is, use the Pan/Crop tool and keyframes to shrink it and then, using keyframes again, zoom in on it at the appropriate point to fill the frame. This will hide all your other images.

While thinking about this last night, I remembered a utility that I had completely forgot about but have now rescued from my archives.
It’s a color picker called PointandSee, is free and does a great job.

Now I understand. You’re using a newer version of Vegas and, for some insane reason, they decided to switch away from using RGB. Very few of us liked this change and made our opinions known to Sony but the problem remains 🙁
You could multiply 255 by the value you get and use those.
In your case that would be 255 – 237 – 179 but, due to rounding, this may not be identical to your original color.
I would take a screenshot, bring that into Photoshop and use the color picker to determine the color.

How did you come up with the values used for your Vegas text?
Use the same RGB values in Photoshop that you did when you created the text in Vegas.
If you’re not sure what those were, click on a text event to open it and then click on the Properties tab to display them. -
The easiest way I know is to click the Foreground Color box in the Color Picker boxes so that this screen shows up.
Once it’s up, paste the number in the # box as shown below.
