Steve, when I open up MB looks as I showed Thomas, Cosmo is a part of the Tools section on the left side.

I’m using Magic Bullet Looks from them and here’s where I look for it in Vegas pro 12.

As soon as you apply it to an event, this screen comes up. Click the Edit button to open it up for processing.

I’ve read on other Vegas forums of users experiencing problems when the number of MOV files hit a certain number (may be 50 but I can’t remember). Russ is correct about transcoding to another Vegas friendly format.
If you’re using Pro 12 or 13, you can try proxy editing. Look in the manual or the online help for instructions on this feature.

Copy the first event (the one with the masks, etc.). Click the next one, then right click it and select Paste Event Attributes.
I just tried this with two stills and it worked so it should work with video as well.
Keep in mind that you may have to move the mask around each new event (what Vegas calls a clip) if the desired position changes on you.

I would use the HD EX 1920×1080-60i preset but choose the one that’s closest to your project settings.

“Then how to get to MPEG from there? Create another vegas timeline, load it with the rendered MXF file then render to MPEG?”

One correction. The Gaussian blur was in the Vertical direction. My bad 🙂

Your settings are the same as mine. I do set the mode to BEST but I think you do to.

Scott, I tried it again but added a Gaussian blur of 0.001 in the Horizontal direction to reduce the line twitter.
