“No longer supported” was a poor choice of words. Yes it’s still for sale but it’s been version 6. for three years with not even a hint of anything better to come. Read into that what you want.

Not sure which version you left off at but it’s up to 6.0 now and has been at that for three years.
Like a lot of other SCS products though, it’s no longer being supported 🙁
The biggest change was the ability to author Blu-ray discs (DVDA Pro 5.0 in 2009).
There have been other minor improvements but I don’t use them so I can’t remember what they were.

You didn’t get up too early. I just tried it using the suggestions I’ve made and your template and I only get one file as well. This in spite of the fact that I can see it rendering each separate region 🙁

Got it!! You have to name each region first. Then do your batch render and then it works 🙂

You need to double click each selection to highlight it and then press “r”. You should be able to do this as many times as needed.

Mark each and every separate section with an “r” and you should be good to batch render.

Mark your selections with an “r” (region) and try it again.

Nigel, thanks for the detailed reply.
I’m glad to see that you found a solution that works for you.
As I said, every recording is different so playing with it to find the best balance of room sound vs. on stage mics is best method.

I record a lot of plays with the same audio setup and what you’re hearing is normal. I sync everything up to the audio desk feed and use my shotgun mic to add some room ambiance to the recording. Sometimes I leave it at the original delay and sometimes I line it up to match. It all depends on the play.
