Do a find on your hard drive for all .lst files, and delete them. lst files can get corrupted and cause such an application specific problem. They regenerate themselves when needed.

Extensis suitcase is an excellent font manager, and font book can do the job also. You may have a font conflict, as Richard suggested so try closing all your fonts except what you need. Some fonts have the same FOND ID number, which can cause this.

Make a new file, draw a rectangle on this, and try to export to psd, (this simple test will help tell us if something is wrong with your install or your document), and let us know if the options for psd are still greyed out.

Not sure what you meant by your AI file has 30 seperate files, can you elaborate? Did you mean that you have 30 layers????

Do you have the full verison of photoshop or elements?

* Ctrl D to place
* Check Show import options, uncheck preview (to speed things up if you like)
* Choose all pages
* Change your view to abotu 10%
* Click once on each page of Indesign to place each page of the .pdf
PS: If you hold down alt all pages will place (but you will have multiple images on the same page, so you most likely will do better not trying this). This is the best advice I can offer, as holding down Ctrl does nto waork as with text. Hope this helps.

Cool glad to hear you got your button done. You will get rounded corners rather than strokes using that method, btu your button may already not have any conrers.

You can also apply a stroke layer style, and keep duplicating layers and change the stroke weight and color of each layer. That ofcourse also gives you rounded corners, btu for weor video graphics you may not notice.

Illustrator is better for projects with strokes. Using the select >> modify >> expand will round the edges of your strokes.

In Illustrator draw a hexagon and set the stroke and fill to none (trust me on this). Go to your appearance palette and choose add stroke from the flyout menu (you can now add your stroke color and thickess). Drag the stroke beneath the fill(thsi is so the stroke only goes outwards, adn the other half goes underneath the fill). Then add another from the appearance palette flyout menu; and viola you are on your way to becoming an appearance palette master.

Put your cursor inside a cell and drag to select atleast 1 cell you wish to check your stroke/color.
Right click and choose
cell options >> strokes and fills

Unfortunately InDesign does not allow you to change the stroke color of a table cell in the stroke palete, since they allow you to chaneg the gap color.

Would also be a good feature if InDesign would allow you to hide your selection when formatting tables so you could see your actual fill color without it being reversed out to abother color.

Would be nice if Photoshop had that feature, as InDesign will allow you to do that also. Checked keyboard shortcuts, and did not see an option there to configure. I will suggest it though to Adobe.

No Photohsop cannot create a zig zag (that looks like the edge of a band saw) in vector or bitmapped.

Did a quick check on some of the custom shapes libraries and did not see one there, though you could add one if you often need a tool to make zig zag shapes in Photoshop.

If you edit a master page item, while on an actual page, the master page will not be altered.

If you want to change somehting globally (eg: type tracking)on all your pages, you would go to the master page and change the item there, and all your pages will update.

Adobe has done alot of homewotrk when it ocmes to master pages, and they have targeted quality and continuity to take priority. You can even create a new master page B to be based on Master page A. If t a chaneg is done to A, then that change will happen on both A & B (works well and very intelligent). You also have the option to create master pages which are not based on others and independant of each other.
