Yes you can create an action in Photoshop. Just don’t forget to apply the transformation within the recording of the action (after I put in my amount and see the preview of the warp, I just switch to the move tool, then I get asked do you want to apply the transformation, click yes).
A simple solution for type layers only
Alt-drag a copy of the warped type layer, then doubleclick on the type, and then change your letters.

That is the closest way I know of to simulate the After Effects Precomp in Photoshop. This way if you need to change your first file, it will update in your 2nd file. Every other method I know of requires 2 files.
You can get rid of the original file if you really wnat to, but I find it best to keep it rather than editing the smart object through the layers palette flyout menu option.

Thanks to smart objects you can do this.
Just place your 900×900.psd file into your 720 x 480 file.

layer >> vector mask >> reveal all.
choose the rounded rectangel shape tool.
In the taskbar at the top right change to the middle of 3 icons (paths).
Adjust the amount you want to round the edges.
Draw a rectangle, and it will draw a path shape within your vector layer mask -
I feel many people are lucky with fonts, and for the most part use them without problems or workaround that.
Just about any company I independant contract work for has font problems they do not know how to solve them, so they use workarounds like setting palatino Italic on Machine number 9 cause it is the only one that works.
Suitcase is the msot comprehensive solution and has almost everything you need to fix fonts. For you it may not be needed, but I think it is the best font management soluition out there, and I have tested it thoroughly against most every product out there from Linotyope, Fontagent, Corel Font Navigator, ATM.

Do you get this error or similar: “Cannot open ‘unknown document.’ Database error information not available.” This message indicates that the document’s temporary file is damaged or cannot be found. You may still open the last saved version of the document.
What location do you have under edit >> preferences > file handling >> Document Recovery Data. This is the location that the minisaves are done. Should be set to a local disk by default which is good, incase a network drive is going down.
Also do you have any other third party software that is on each computer, like Extensis Suitcase server?

You are probably very close.
What you need to do is to alt (option on mac) click on a layer mask thumbnail. You will then see the contents of the layer mask. You can then paste the contents of your clipboard, and a grayscale version will be pasted in the layer mask. Finally click on the artwork layer thumbnail for the artwork to display and the transparent masked items will show as a checkerboard pattern.

Tell us more about the error. Is the blabla.indd file part of the InDesgin application, or is it a file saved by one of your machines. Do a find for that .indd file and try to open and resave it (you may just have a corrupted image preview which is 85% of the file in most cases).
Do you have a shared library (.indl) file that that this .indd file may be part of? You may want to restart the server if that is not too much of a problem, and clsoe any shared liabraries until you find the root of this problem.

You can do this in Photoshop, and then move the paths back into Illustrator.
First place you logo on a layer in photoshop. Then add a layer mask, and drag with gradient over the logo to make the tail end fade out. Change the image mode to grayscale then
filter >> pixelate >> color halftone
filter >> pixelate >> mosaic
image >> adjustment >> curves (maek an s-curve to eliminate midtones eg: input 31 output 16, input 64 output 79)
Slect teh solid black square, then in path palette flyout menu choose >> make a work path.Copy and paste thes paths into illustrator.
