Doing this with your editor would be an easy way, like Dave said. Otherwise I would add an intermediate step and render out the first part and the looping part separately, then import them into a new comp, add them both to the timeline and set the looping clip to loop a whole bunch of times in the interpret footage dialogue (right click on the video -> Interpret Footage -> Main)

…which is pretty much the same thing you would do in an editor, just in AE..

You can network render with multiple computers – which is basically what Nucleo does when rendering. It opens up Multiple copies of AE so that your CPU’s are used more effectively.

I also just noticed that some of my shapes are wrong in AE. For example, I made a square shape, added a few points and moved them to make a crazy looking box. In After Effects, the vertical sides are just straight up and down, like the points I added in Illustrator are not there.

Thanks! I’ll give that a try!

Hmm.. That does seem interesting. When I have some free time I’ll have to experiment with importing the ProAnimator animation data into AE.. It just seems to me that both programs are so similar that I don’t understand why they would leave this feature out of their more expensive software when it so useful.. I would really hate to have my company go buy Invigorator just for that functionality, or for a new version of ProAnimator to include the 3D tracking after we’ve purchased both.
