Thanks for your response. They were indeed set to Lower first but changing them to None hasn’t made any difference for some reason.

I have the 200a and while I admit to being relatively new to green screening (I use After Effects with Keylight 1.2), the right side of the talent looks consistently worse than the left side. Up until today I figured it was a result of my inexperience and perhaps the lack of a higher-end keying program but it looks like lots of other people are having issues. There is always a pixelated greenish-white border around the peoples’ bodies (although their hair is significantly better). This issue is especially present under their arms. However, this could just be because I don’t know Keylight inside and out like most of the posters here seem to know their keying programs.

First of all, I should have clarified and said that I was rendering from After Effects and not exporting. I know they’re separate things but I sometimes mix up the terms. I’ve seen you drill it into people on here before so I really should have known better.

As far as the card goes, I don’t personally have one. I have a friend that works at a large commercial production company with a big edit suite that’s set up for Digi Beta and I’m planning on taking my footage there to transfer it. I’m not sure what card they have, but I could find out if it’s something I’d need to know in advance.

Thanks for your response, Darby. That got rid of all the jaggies. Should I do all the editing/compositing/exporting in the square pixel comp or should I stick with my original?

I was going to shoot 30p because that’s the look I’d like. 24p looks too jerky when there’s camera movement and 60p looks like the news (30p still looks jerkier than I’d like, but it’s a compromise). However, I did some tests today comparing the 480i and 720p shooting modes and they looked nearly identical when played back on a standard definition TV. Would changing the film mode (Film or Video) make the image move smoother?
