Here’s some tuts from Cycore:
https://www.cycorefx.com/cfxdwn.php
Also, there is a Cycore Manual in pdf thaat talks about each filter, form but I can’t find the link, so check you AE Install Disk, maybe it’s in the Cycore Folder.
Otherwise the only ones I know of are here:

I agree Dan or Filip over at expressions are the go to guys:
https://forums.creativecow.net/viewforum/227
Don’t fully understand what you want.
I hear that you can access the vertices or points of the new Shape in AE8, but not mask vertices? I haven’t used AE8 as I’m on AE6.5, so haven’t tested it and maybe it’s not functional until the release. If it works you could use the new Shapes in AE8, maybe with a mask on it.
You can access mask vertices with Da Script:
https://del.icio.us/escruz/Rotoscope
It was written for Roto work so it makes the mask points adhere to track points. But you can sub any keyframes in for the trackpoints, even Expressions converted to keyframes. Here is a link to add a wiggle expression to mask vertices, an expression converted to keyframes.

As far as Dan’s expressions, are you talking about “Border Lines”, here:
https://www.motionscript.com/expressions-lab-ae65/table-of-contents.html
If so,I don’t quite understand you’re needing masks as Dan’s Borders us thin/long solid layers instead of masks with stroke.
I guess I don’t still really understand what you’re trying to do, the part about “changing the pan of the comps with masks”.
Can you just use another instance of Dan’s setup for the Pan, but the solid in the middle has a mask on it? If the mask is the same dimensions as the Solid, by selecting the solid then double clicking the Rectangular Mask Tool, then when you changed the size of the solid, you change the size of the mask. Can you use that mask for panning?
-
The only case I can think of that works easily is if you had a sqaure mask the size of the layer (select layer, then double click the Rectangular Mask Tool), make it a 3D layer, then as you animate the layer in 3D space, the layer corners will be the same as the mask vertices, giving you a lot of control ovwer their placement.
Otherwise, not so easy.
Echo… What are you tring to do… do… do… ?

The four loop expressions:
loop_out(“cycle”,0)
loop_out(“pingpong”,0)
loop_out(“offset”,0)
loop_out(“continue”)
will loop most keyframed properties and are demonstrated in Dan Ebberts project file “loop_project.aep”, in the comp named “intro”, here:
https://www.creativecow.net/show.php?page=/articles/ebberts_dan/layer_looping/index.html
Download the project file.
loop_out(“cycle”,0)
is the most common loop expression, Alt click the stopwatch that’s animated, then paste in the expression.

The Clone Tool. I know this doesn’t sound good, but that’s it. You become God-like and decide what’s behind all those cutouts. Often the move isn’t that great so you don’t need to fill in the holes all the way.
Here’s an Adobe tut that I forgot about, it does what you want:

Here’s all the Adobe AE tuts:

Can you post a pic of your car somewhere? Sounds like fun to see if it’s possible. Probably so, depending on your level of realism and if you keep the camera stationary after impact.

Position Keyfraames on the camera. “C” Brings up the different camera tools, Dolly being one ot them, set keyframes along the time line. Andrew does a simple camera move here:

and a simple 3D setup (for a DVD menu) here:

I like these tus by Rick Gerard, but they’re more complicated:

You might want to checkout Aharon’s tut on Junk Mattes:
https://forums.creativecow.net/articles/rabinowitz_aharon/junk_mattes/index.htm
-
Are you drawing a mask on the layer with the Pen Tool (G)? Is it closed (connected to itself), otherwise no masking. Maybe Invert mask? It should work. You can always add a Black solid (Ctrl Y) above, then mask that.
If you need a Junk Matte, check out this tut by Aharon:

A couple of ways.
1) Composition>Save Frame As, will give you a still .psd of where you are on the timeline.
2) Select the layer then Layer>Enable Time Remapping. Go to where you want the still, then click the “Add or Remove Keyframe at Current Time” box (below the eyeball), to get that little checkmark. Then go delete that last Time Remap keyframe.
