Hey…

I have seen this b4 when the version of quicktime hasn’t been updated… check that its the most current version of QT… or go to VLC (i think they have a microshaft verson ;)… you say it works in FCP… neither the export from AE or FCP is working?? then steve is right and its a codec problem and you prolly jus need to update QT….

Hi i think that both of you need to elaborate on what your talking about… I would really like to know what you can do with editing the script (this maybe a stupid ques)?? how you do it (i am all about hard work ;o)?? and what language is the script (HTML, this may also be a stupid question)??? i know very little about scripting and would totally like to learn more how can i learn more do ya know…

Thanks for the books i’m going to go check them out… I have i herd that the Rebel with out a crew was a great book (i should have thought of that… Oh and did you see the film Domino (tony scott film) check out the direction in that film amazing (a bit like natural born killers)… that deffo is the top of the top…

I love your post on the 3d hologram ect… although I think I’ll have to read it again to really understand how to do it… I read in a bio of you that you read a couple of books on direction and they tought you more of a how to develope the vision that you need to have when direction a piece… what r those book? I have just been getting into freelance video/editing and motion design i was in house at a studio and now i have branched out to doing freelance… things r good and i have some good clients, I’ve done good work (no awards yet but they are happy) and now some of the bigger ad agencys are starting to give me some small pieces (which i hope to turn into bigger pieces, fingers crossed)… and from what I read in your bio kinda sounds similar to what you went through on your rise to the top;)… is there any tips or pitfalls that I might want to watch out for, suggestions…

Actually now that you mentioned the rim light i agree with you… it won’t look just like that… because they are flat… but i think i can fake it a bit… i’ll see what i can come up with thanks for the advise… loved the real BTW…

Thanks Chris this totally helps… since i don’t have maya… to get the same effect as the light passing by the particles should i create a ball (lens flair) and then track the movement with an expression to an actual light so that it will light objects as it goes by or do you think it would be alot of trouble to get a simple fx…
