  • I would think that using the Remove Hardware Safely function, you would be able to properly manage how the computer sees the device. Usually it is found in the lower right-hand icon tray on your task bar. If not, a quick search should locate it.

    Hey Willie,

Just the typical latency issues with the factory cards. I am using a laptop for my audio programs and want to get into basic multi-track recording, so i need a card that will give me real time monitoring. Other than that – no problems.

Which codec are you using? I have to purchase the whole outfit (ppro 1.5, the hd codec, Sony Z) and would like to know which one you have and how it works. Also, are you using adobe’s dvd program? Any glitches at all? Is it relatively quick? I have used fcp to go to dvd before – is this similar?

Can you send me any info on your workflow and issues that you have encountered? mickavid@hotmail.com

    Thanks,

my bad. didn’t modify the capture settings for MainConcept MPEG Pro. After selecting Sony as the device etc. in the options window it works fine.

except now it wont save any captures. it act like nothing happened when hitting either esc. or record to stop capturing.

    hmmmmmm. i am missing something.
