  • The problem is i didn’t expect the plain effector to create a bulge, i set the deformation to Points. and set the transform parameter to move 50px on the X axis. and i expected all the point to move 50px on that axis. but they didn’t.
as its showed in the first screenshot it just created a bulge ☹

I now my English isn’t that a great, and am making it harder for you to understand what am i going for,
So thank you again for your time.

  • Jim!! thank you a lot for your reply.. here is an example of the goal that i did using the wind deformer

But i don’t want the wave to go upward and then downward, that is why i wanted to achieve that using a simple plain effector.

  • well i am no expert but if i were you i would try uninstalling/reinstalling the software if you haven’t yet.

I don’t believe there will be an easy way to mimic this material in Photoshop. will have to use a 3d software for that.
Or you will have to be a really good digital Painter.
You may try searching in Windows>Styles. but i don’t believe you will be satisfied with that.

Are you using RGB or CMYK!?
In illustrator go to File>document color mode, Chose RGB.
Then select everything with Ctrl+A, then Edit>edit colors> convert to RGB.

    Try if that helps.

  • Maybe a screenshot of the symbol you have would help better understanding what it may be!

Thank You both for your replies,, I defiantly have a lot to read and understand about how things works.. And can better optimize my modest machine. Maybe I will be just fine without multiprocessing after all..

    Best regards.
