This is the first time I’ve ever had a problem in Photoshop that I can’t find an answer to/correct on my own. My crop tool is working in a constrained fashion but i haven’t specified any width/height parameters so nothing to “clear”. The tool itself looks different almost like the normal symbol but with 3 crop tools joined together. I have performed “reset tool” and “reset all tools” but to no avail. Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

Maybe a screenshot of the symbol you have would help better understanding what it may be!

Hi, I can’t screenshot the problem, the crop tool looks normal in the tool bar it’s just different when in use. Here’s a picture i took with my phone:

I have tried to reset the tool, reset all tool presets, and did “ctrl, alt, shift” at startup which prompted me to delete the Photoshop settings file which I did. Nothing works. Another related problem I have found now is that when using the curves I get another weird symbol which doesn’t allow me to uses curves in the normal way meaning, I basically can’t use it. Here’s a pic of that:

Any help would be so appreciated. I haven’t a clue how to move forward with this. Thanks so much.
