You could use the strobe effect, but this really is more of a video editing thing and you should be doing that in Premiere Pro, as Dave says.

Make sure the size of your OF is the size of the composition. Make sure it is a 2d layer. Be sure to reset all of your transform properties so that there is no scaling, position, or rotation on the OF layer.

You can definitely use Psunami with AE’s camera. See this: https://www.digitalanarchy.com/tutes/psunami_camera-link.pdf
Alternatively, you could use the distortion tools in Element on a plane or a cube to make your ocean. I mean, this really depends on your shot.
Psunami rocks for creating oceans though – even though it’s old and renders slowly.

I’d recommend starting with one of the H.264 presets that already come with AME and only tweak the parts that you need to tweak. It’s likely that something is screwy with your preset causing the issue.

You’re using an un-updated version of CC 2014. You’re missing all the bug fixes, etc. that came out. I’d consider updating to the latest version of CC 2014 as the first troubleshooting step, if I were you.

That is going to be tricky.
First, you need to paint out the old name (which will require rebuilding the reflection on the tablet from other times in the shot where there aren’t any names obscuring the face).
Then you’ll need to motion track your new name into the shot.
And, yes, you will need to rotoscope (probably by hand and not with the roto brush tool) to keep the hand in the shot where it belongs.– The Great Szalam

Sorry, I worded that clumsily. You have to adjust the transform properties of the repeater. Not of the layer or of the shape group or of the shape, but of the repeater.
Here, I knocked out an example: 10737_repeater.aep.zip
