You have to figure out about where the 1/2 way point is on your disc and play Chapter markers before and after that. THere is a pause at the chapter break so you need to keep that in mind as you choose the chapter markers. Like you wouldn’t want the break/pause to happen in the middle of a car chase. Once you figure out which one will work you can delete the others if you wish.

that makes sense now that I think about it. It would be a nightmare for rental houses if that was the case.

there is no chapter marker in the valid range where the layer break must go. You need to add some chapter markers for DVDSP to choose from.

Yes to the viewing the clips from the FS on the camera, not sure about the copying ? I never tried that.

SOmeone correct my if I’m wrong, I thought Sony and Panasonic had different mounts on them and the lenses are not interchangeable.

IF you have FCP6/Compressor 3 (Studio 2)
I would shot the camera on 720P @ 24PN (which will actually be 23.98) Then you can transcode your footage in compressor. ON the Frame Control Tab you set Frame Control ON and then at the bottom change the Set Duration to 23.98 to 25FPS in the drop down menu. You also start with a DVCProHD 720P PAL setting. This will give you the best conversion without sending money.

If you are not seeing the video image in the viewfinder before you hit record you won’t see it after you hit it.
Have you confirmed that the other camera is sending out a video signal?

No idea why you would have to go to Leopard to keep this system active. If it works fine in Tiger just leave it there.

NO the reader is a lot faster than the camera. Normally the is a little longer than 1 GB/min and the reader is a little faster than 2GB/min.
