The Codecs are showing in my Additional FCP Easy Set Ups folder. hmmm. not sure why theyre not showing in FCP application. Also all the PRO RES files are not showing in FCP but exist in the Additional Easy Set Up folder..

Any Ideas?

So far the JVC is the most likely candidate.

I’ll be going next week to view the Panasonic and the JVC side by side. TV Logic is getting some great reviews, but we’ll have to wait for the next upgrade.

In the Log and Transfer preferences pull down I unchecked
the “remove advanced pulldown and duplicate frames” box and the media imported easily.

I also viewed the Tutorial by Shane Ross, Thanks Shane!!

The footage is DVCPRO HD 720 60
This could be the issue.

I’ve been able to import DVCPRO 50

I’ll give turning off “Remove Duplicate Frames” a try.

I need to step away from the studio for the evening.
I have a sick child at home.

I’ll leave a response i the AM
