Just for technical accuracy… 😉
If it is 4:3 sources, use 4 perfs per frame, if 16:9, then 3 perfs per frame… unless there is letterboxing invlolved…

I know there are fixes coming in the next point release that fix the MXF source media to EDL manager that have existed for a while. I am curious about your sequence. Can you send me a bin with the seqeunce to me at michael@24p.com

I generate EDL’s all the time… Where does it fail? Have you tried opening the bin from within EDL Manager first?

Record some LTC for that matches the record side timecode that you need to match. You can use Read Audio Timecode to get the timecode value, load it up, and make the edit or capture the V track with a timecode burn-in. Edit the LTC track onto the proper audio track and your done.

Do you have the audio delay set to another value other than zero?

Make a NTSC 23.976 or 24 project them depending on frame rate of source QT. Does QY have audio or it is picture only?

Which Nitris are you referring to, Symphony or DS? DS does not have a stasndard definition 23.976 or 24 option, only HD.

What version of QuickTime are you using and is it the right one for your version of Avid?
