Capture Card – AJA Kona LHe – HD material , 1080i

We can capture 8 bit uncompressed, as well as the above mentioned variation to the SAN. I just tried to capture to a 1TB Glyph drive with no success using the regular ProRes HQ easy setup, it still dropped on the first frame. As soon as we get rid of the 10 bit digitizer it seems fine.

Thanks Richard. I did wind up purchasing from fonts.com. I found their selection to be plentiful and their site the easiest to navigate. Thanks again.

I’m trying to capture with FCP 6.0.2, which I did include in my original post (at the bottom). I checked out the link you posted and it looks like my camera, the Canon ZR10, is supported by Final Cut Studio 2.0.X. So I’m still not sure why it isn’t working. Other then not having a tape in the camera, which I have yet to try. Thanks.

    More information:
I’ve just read that a mini dv tape in the camera may be necessary to perform this function. If anyone has any insight please let me know. Thanks.

You can either “set noise print” or “reduce noise” in soundtrack. by setting noise print you can select only the wind and soundtrack will eliminate that frequency throughout your track. search “set noise print” in the help topic for the steps.

Not an image sequence, I just need separate files for each still. It’s not a huge amount of stills (maybe 20), so I can do them one at a time. I just wanted to figure out why it wouldn’t work. I will report this to Apple, thanks.

Thanks Jerry, but perhaps I was unclear in my post. After putting the clips in the uncompressed HD timeline I am selecting them all in the browser and trying to batch export, still not working…
