FCP audio filter for wind?
Does anyone have any tips about which FCP audio filter might help minimize wind noise on footage?
I’m trying to isolate a female voice in an exterior (windy) scene. I know we can’t completely get rid of the wind but any tricks/suggestions would be a big help.

Soundtrack Pro has a very decent noise reduction tool. Open the app and search the help tool, it wil guide you through the simple steps you’ll need to use.

You can either “set noise print” or “reduce noise” in soundtrack. by setting noise print you can select only the wind and soundtrack will eliminate that frequency throughout your track. search “set noise print” in the help topic for the steps.

thanks so much for the Soundtrack suggestion. I took a stab at the noise reduction tool last night. I haven’t gotten the output quite right yet but I’ll keep experimenting with the noise print today.Really appreciate the help!
