Great… Thanks… So you’re saying I should be in good shape with the 6TB version of this: Facilis Technology’s “Terrablock 24D”?

This is definitely still a bug…

It will print all poster views, but M100 HD cannot print bins in list view.

I’m not sure why the FCP files aren’t fast importing then. Weird.

Thanks Floh… I’m importing off of the DVD-R… But I’ll try bringing it to the drive first…

But won’t it still change the file to a M100 codec file? (I’m using M100i 100kb codec for these)… What import settings would I use to make them “fast import”?

    Thanks.

bumping this since I’m experiencing the exact same problem now in 10.3

The video lags then speeds up to catch up with itself during playback. Oddly enough it happens on regular old cuts with no effects or anything.

Anyone know what this is? It is not repeatable on the same area. You can simply play over it again and it fixes.

But it kinda sucks not to be able to trust your online… at least you get the real-time error message at the end… you just don’t know where it happened.

February 2, 2006 at 12:42 am in reply to: Media 100HD 16:9 and 4:3 Workflow Solution?

Spinning off of Floh’s idea, here’s what I did.

I created a 16:9 hold program and lined it up underneath the 4:3 program.

When I came across a 16:9 squeezed clip in the 4×3 program, I’d drag in down to the 16:9 hold program… M100HD asks what to do. I select change aspect ratio so it instantly drops in…

Then, I immediateley drag it right back onto the clip in the main 4:3 program (and replace the clip using the command key) and choose conform, then select the crop option. This “unsqueezes” it and pushes in making it look perfect. All the shots rendered quite fast.

This works great because all transitions are kept in tact.

This is also a great work around for pushing in on 4×3 letter box clips way faster than using boris (and better quality it seems too)… You just do the process in reverse.

It is pretty quick to do and not a huge ordeal… Although, they really should get the system working much better. You shouldn’t have to find work-arounds for something as basic as this.

Just as a final note, I got through the online and got all the clips… After not changing anything, all the clips ended up going in fine.

I don’t know what EE Delay is or why it had to be on VIDEO for me, but that fixed the problem. Hopefully others who run into this issue will be able to find this thread to try this as a fix.

    Thanks for the help people!
