Fibre Channel Drives OK for M100 HD
We’re about to do a large HD project and I know I don’t have enough drive space…
We’ve been wanting to upgrade to a whole bunch of Terabytes for a while now, and this is the time. I’d like for the storage system we get to not only work flawlessly with the Media100 HD, but also with an Avid Adreanline System, FCP HD and of course associated pro apps like ProTools, Motion, AE, etc, etc…
So the question is, is Fibre Channel drives the way to go and does the M100 HD work with them?

Yes, absolutely. Only make sure that your RAID us fast enough for uncompressed HD. E.g. an XServe RAID with 14 drives and RAID50.
