July 27, 2015 at 5:30 pm in reply to: Is there a way to feather Mocha shapes?

4 years later there doesn’t seem to be a “Paste Mocha Mask” in After Effects. I can CTRL Paste the shape data into AE and it appears a layer under effects.

I also can’t see any way to edit the feather of a layer pasted into AE from Mocha (shape data in clipboard). Can someone direct me to the correct settings in AE CC 2014+?

Also, if my tracking data has many key frames in Mocha, I can’t figure out a way to change the edge data for all keyframes. I’d have to manually change it for each keyframe.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

September 3, 2014 at 5:13 pm in reply to: Best way to report bugs

It seems that, currently, all links to the bug reporting form for Adobe are broken (https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform&loc=en).

And when I open my Adobe account and view the Adobe Bugbase, I can’t report any bugs for most Adobe products (pulldown only lists a few Adobe aps)… and none of the previous bugs I’ve reported are listed there.

Where should I report bugs and where can I view the bugs I’ve reported? I’ve never received ANY feedback from bugs I’ve reported (using that bug form everyone directed me to in the past) and it feels like I’m wasting my time completely.

January 22, 2013 at 5:22 am in reply to: Copy keyframes in Pro Titler?

Sorry Grazie, but you have to remember that the keyframe interface in Pro Titler is completely different than the keyframe interface everywhere else in Vegas. It doesn’t seem to be possible to select keyframes on different tracks/attributes in Pro Titler… you can only drag select multiple keyframes for the same attribute horizontally.

But your render and reverse suggestion might accomplish what I need. Thanks.

This is still happening with Vegas 12. Does anyone know a solution? It’s very irritating.

  • Found a solution… need to make the font size bigger… over 40 or more for some fonts… Then Boris won’t fill in all the holes.

Thanks John. Couldn’t figure this out. Was trying to import a Vegas project into Redcine X and it was barfing because I was outputting a text EDL with Save As, rather than using the scripting tool option. Why is this buried in scripting? Should definitely be in the Save As section as it’s saving the project in a certain format. I bet MANY people get confused by this! What programs ingest text versions of EDL and why does Vegas only show that option?

September 20, 2011 at 3:26 am in reply to: How integrated are Vegas 10 and Sound Forge

But it appears that there is a bug. When I open a copy in Sound Forge, edit it, and try to save it: I get an error from Sound Forge saying that it can’t save the file… I have to TAB back to Vegas, then back to Sound Forge before I can save the file… It’s very annoying and time wasting. Apparently Vegas is hanging onto ownership of the sound file copy and won’t let go until it has focus again.

Anyone know how to prevent this problem?

Thanks for the suggestion. I just scaled the whole EPS and the letters are now rendered correctly. Thanks.

I made sure that all those letters have compound paths and no weird shapes. They look like any other letter than has been drawn correctly. I’ve saved both in Illustrator 8 and 10 formats… both seem to output the same.

Found out the problem by reading another post here. BCC didn’t like a CS4 EPS file…. as soon as I saved it in Illustrator 8 EPS I could see the logo.
