What type of video are you working with? How did you make your Photoshop file, did you use one of the video presets in the new document dialog? My guess is that your .png has square pixels (1:1) instead of the needed rectangular for video? Possible?

Try turning off ‘Frame Blending’ if you can. Sometimes it gets too choppy. If it does, you will have to scale up the clip 2-3%.

Look up jQuery Carousel…

I was just looking at the borisfx website, and I see they have an After Effects filter called DV fixer…
Maybe that is worth a try in conjunction with other options too…
Good luck.

What was the material shot on? How was the material digitized? If it wasn’t shot DV, maybe working in a 4:2:2 10-bit codec to start would be useful. It is good to look at the tape and see what you actually have. Are you using broadcast safe or color correction filters? Sometimes, that exacerbates the problem too, especially in a compressed format. Possibly, you could try to desaturate the red a little using a CC 3-way limit effect. But if this was shot DV, that compression could be on the source recording and then you would be limited in possible solutions.

I have read you can open and convert SWF to QT if you have a version of QT Pro that runs under Classic. That possibility is becoming more and more unlikely with Classic vanishing quickly. But I found several SWF to QT/FLV converters online, most for under $100, and some under $50. Good luck.

For FLVs, I love Perian, a Quicktime component that is great. Ideally, you would probably want to recompress/export to a better format. For SWFs, you might need Flash…

Wait, so the logo is below the vignette or the filter is affecting the opacity of the logo? I don’t know if I understand what you are describing completely, but anyway…What about a travel matte? Use the alpha of the logo to matte any other footage?
