I believe there’s a separate command for deleting keyframes. Look it up in the keyboard editor. Cmd-ctrl-k.

As far as I can tell, the files are hard links – which means they don’t double the size. So I’d recommend not deleting the folder. I’m not sure of its purpose and was curious about this, too. Anyone else know?

Opt-up arrow and down arrow work for selected audio keyframes. It’s quite nice to be able to just raise or lower range of keyframes. You can also move them left or right with . and ,. It seems to do that in subframes. Shift . and , move it “many” frames.

Matching colors takes a lot of patience and quite often trial and error. Experience helps here, as it allows you to work faster. But it still takes time.
The contrast in your third image is pretty strong compared to the rest. Since you won’t be able to rescue the black levels in it, my rec would be to balance to that camera. I find matching skin tones to be the most important in the order of matching shots. Then comes everything else.
Working with DSLR or 4:2:0 footage allows you less room to move with your color. So, that might be part of your frustration here.
You’ll probably also need to do some selective color correction on the skin tones. I recommend using Slice X to mask out areas. But sometimes you can get away with Apple’s built in mask tool within the built in color board.

I don’t believe that key combo is in X. But you can switch to the zoom tool and drag over the area you want to zoom to.

My folder structure is generally the same as yours. When you say some days have numerous files spread across several folders, what do you mean?
On my last shoot, I created a folder with the day number of the shoot (this could also be the date). So instead of the date, it’ll be Day 01, Day 02. Some people place the year first to help with sorting. So, 140220 instead of 022014.
For my CamName folders, I’ll add an _001, _002 them in incremental order of reels.
So, I’ll get: Day_01:CamName:CamName_001
and for audio, Day_01:CamName:AudioIf I use audio from a recorder, it’s always been from a single unit. So, I place the entire day’s worth in one folder.
As for importing into FCP, it depends on the kind of footage. But if it’s DSLR, then the reel name should come along with the folder that the files are in. So, the reel gets CamName_001 etc.
I’ll generally just group by reel name in FCP instead of creating multiple keyword collections.
If there are tons of days of material, then I’ll create a new event based on the day of the shoot.
From there, once you’ve synced your sound, you can move clips to new events based, say on scene or location, etc…
