August 27, 2014 at 5:59 pm in reply to: Clips in multicam clip truncated in angle editor.Hi Tangier,
I believe you might have had a range selected on those clips before you made the multiclip. You can remove the ranges by selecting the clips and hitting opt-x. Then select the three clips along with the audio and recreate the multiclip. Hope that helps.

June 25, 2014 at 9:36 pm in reply to: Add notes to a range selection and not the entire clip?Check out this tutorial I posted recently about my methods for logging interviews. It might be of some help.
https://youtu.be/9TJr9c4nSskI don’t mention this in the video, but some people prefer to log interview clips in the timeline with markers for detailed transcriptions or notes. For what I’ve been doing, I prefer my system of using answer keywords + notes.

Then pull down the clip’s enclosure triangle, etc.. That said, I prefer adding notes to keyword ranges over favorites.

Thanks, Bill! Having been stuck at McCarran late at night, I’ve seen how how deserted it can get. I enjoyed the escalator shot the most.

Double-click on the blade speed cut point. You should get a little dialog box called Speed Transition. Hit edit. It brings up a little film strip icon on the speed cut point. Drag to your heart’s content! 😉

Didn’t work for me when components were muted in the timeline and visible and also muted in the timeline and then hidden in the inspector.

Hey Bret – I would do that, but timelines can get sluggish when you have lots of poly audio files with channels turned off in the timeline vs the inspector. Disabling in the inspector seems to fix that.
