Add notes to a range selection and not the entire clip?
Posted by Bob Pierce on June 25, 2014 at 6:43 pmThere must be a way but I can’t for the life of me figure it out.

June 25, 2014 at 7:26 pmcreate a range, mark it as a keyword collection. twirl open clip and you can write individual notes to each keyword collection.

June 25, 2014 at 9:31 pmThanks guys for the suggestions. I’m still not able to fill in the notes field. I’ve tried clicking on it with every key combination I can think of.
Also – is there anything quicker than this? I’m looking for a solution for logging interviews. I might have 10 or 20 hours of material to log, and all that mousing and keystrokes really add up.

June 25, 2014 at 9:36 pmCheck out this tutorial I posted recently about my methods for logging interviews. It might be of some help.
https://youtu.be/9TJr9c4nSskI don’t mention this in the video, but some people prefer to log interview clips in the timeline with markers for detailed transcriptions or notes. For what I’ve been doing, I prefer my system of using answer keywords + notes.
