I haven’t tried field orders. Premiere makes everything progressive, but it might be worth a shot. The footage looks good, but the blown out area are shit.

DV is like working with wet paper.

It’s no the up-rezz that’s causing it. It was alway there.

Ya know I’m not so sure now. It’s SD PAL 25 fps. I just had music vids that I made from the 90s digitized from Betacam.

Its not video. They are tifs.

The monitor they have has an interlaced setting.

All I want to know is after I export the Avid video file is there a way for me see it interlaced?

The question is not about their monitors. Assume that they are looking at them on both. My question is how can I see the moire on my iMac. I have the 4K latest iMac.

Thanks, but this isn’t what I am asking.

I have a project that shows moire when in Avid on a calibrated monitor. I can’t see it in AE orin QT.

I would like to be able to identify the issues.

Thanks for the response. I think thickening the lines and enlarging the font may be the solution.

One of the issues is that I can’t see the moire in AE. They only see it on the Avid and in color correct.

That won’t work, and it’s not really the question. If I do that it changes the look of the blur.

The question again is is there a way to hide a single shape layer from a single effect?
