disk utility select the system drive and click repair permissions.
Have you tried to install panther on another drive and boot from that??

by the way DiskWarrior is uptated to 3.03 for Tiger

by the way how did you upgrade to tiger was it an archive and install, that seems to have problems.

Do a get info on the drive and folders and see if you have permission to read and write to the drive and folders.
Did this happen directly after you installed Tiger? or a few days later?
Can you install panther on another partition and try to move the files

Have you tried Disk Utility in the Utilities folder?
Is the drive with your projects on it the only one hooked up?

Not the dreaded Archive and install???
I did that and had to reinstall Motion.mdr

No, I just use Motion as a particle generator for AE.
I just got a new 2.5 with the 6800 ultra, so hopefully with that and the new upgrade to come Motion will move to a more useful tool.did you repair permission?
