Damn you’re right about the underbelly of the car…hmmm…what about having the actor just sit on a bunch of phonebooks and press is body up against the ceiling of the car and then flip that in Final Cut. I mean…I guess it could work but he’d have to stay away from wearing loose clothing that would droop if hanging upside down.

Hahah! whoops! well…i thought of the junk yard idea but Im not sure i would want the car to look completely totaled. I mean it has to look wrecked but not flattened or anything.

If I did do this, are you saying to put the flipped junker car on or in front of the green screen so I could just key that and “composite” that into my final shot? I dont want it to look like this guy is in a flipped car in a junk yard ya know?

interesting. so its a whole other program huh? Is it easy to use? How big’s the learning curve? I want to avoid leaving final cut for this kind of stuff as much as possible. I already hate having to bounce back and forth between after effects and final cut. Rendering takes forever.

Im capturing my media to my local hard drive on my computer…not an external drive.

I currently have 19 gigs left on my drive.

Ive also noticed after changing a few things in the user preferences in FCE, that I am now no longer able to scale my clip. ???
