Tim So you options are two. The first positioning a light behind the my object (thanks for the tips on the floor, once i figure how to achieve the effect i will add the floor)

Your 2nd option is to use Trapcode LUX plugin. I have that but did not think of it. I tried the first option with no luck. I positioned the light behind my obecjt and above slightly. No luck. The front lights were turned off. I will give it another shot. If it does not work i will give LUX a shot.

Any other ideas? I wish this post has an area to add small bmp, or jpg (screen shots so you can see my settings.)

lol.. no its works fine, but it did not hurt to ask. After all, are we not part of a sharing community with lost of information available? If that was not the case why else subscribe to sites such as this one when we all know we can get the information for the most part using other reliable resources such as gOoGle, etc.

Does this effect only work with video footage? I’m referring to the effect (live footage or photo still, or object)

Also, could we not simply copy the settings in the clip?

here is an example, not mine of course but to give you an idea. This was done in AE using camera/ 3d movement. Just to give you an idea. Guy goes by the name kbainter who produced this. This type of work with out doubt can take time and a lot of render time. I did one using video which was pretty cool. I’m still learning camera movement..

How do you max out your ram in AE? I notice each time i boot it up it says 2% of xxxxx..

And if i make these changes will it effect other applications like fcp?
