Hello Dave,

I log and transfer AVCHD to ProRes 422. Can Premiere handle this code?

Hello Rafael,

I’m using the Log and Transfer option. I open the open the card and select the clips and I add them to the que.. The arrow starts to circle but it stops and an exclamation point takes it’s place. Then nothing happens. I try to restart the transfer on the clip. Nothing happens. I usually delete the que and start all over. Same thing happens. So I tried just one clip then two but the long ones don’t transfer.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the answers. I’m using a Samsung Monitor and I can see the lines there. On the Westinghouse HDTV1080 it looks jagged when people move. Can I guess that it would look fine on a normal tube tv and dvd. I don’t have one handy at the moment. I used FCP de-interlace on maximum flicker. It all went soft. Interlacing and fields is one of the things that I’m trying to learn about cause I can’t quite put my finger around it yet.

Hi Brad,

The sequence was sent from FCP to Color then back to FCP. In Color we used render to Original Format.
