    Hello,

I have a pre-comp with animated pictures that start to fill the entire screen. After setting up the animation is to slow. I time stretched it to make it go faster. Now I was asked to start slow and end faster. I started looking for tutorials online about time remapping. I have played with the settings but I’m stumped. Can anyone direct me to another way of doing this or a tried and true tutorial link.

    Thank you.

    Hi Monica,

Here is one that covers time displacement as part of a three-part series.

Precomposing the whole animation and then enabling time remapping is a good way to change the speed of an animation. You can set up keyframes and adjust them to change the timing of your project. This way AE will create the exact number of real frames you need.
