Thanks to you two. Dave, I’ll try your solution but I created my AE comp by dragging my footage on the icon “create a new comp”. Isn’t it supposed to create a comp matching the footage frame rate? (ie 23.976)

By card included, I meant a kona card which seems to be useful. But after a few research, it’s way too expensive for me right now. Reading the posts, I see you don’t talk about Imac, is there a reason? Thank you for your time, Creative Cow is amazing!

AAAAAAhhhhh! Now I get it. It sucks. Thank you so much. Well, what can I do if I don’t want to pay 100$ for something I’ll use once? Any other way?

Thanks, now I can change the settings. But it doesn’t improve my weird colored pixels problem. They are everywhere, blue, red, green, yellow. What is it? Anyone had the same problem? Also, when I click fit to fill, nothing happens. Thank you for your patience…

Hi Shane, I watched your tutorial and it looks great. But I have Compressor 1.2.1 and I don’t think it works (I don’t see the advanced format conversion).

On the other hand, I installed instant HD and, after having followed the Magic Bullet tutorial I end up with 2 problems:
    1) Many weird pixels of different colors appear when I drag the effect on the footage,
    2) I can’t access the effect settings! According to the tutorial, I need to create 2 sequences, one with the source footage and one called output (in which I drag the source sequence), but when I click on the output sequence to see the effect settings, it automaticaly selects the other sequence (source). Just for a test, I put another effect on the output sequence and it works fine. I know it’s confusing but I followed the tutorial perfectly (well I think). Any suggestions… please? Thanks

Thanks Dennis, I downloaded the Magic Bullet Instant HD free trial version. The only thing is I don’t know how to install it so I can use it in FCP, or after effects. I never installed a plugin before. Can someone tell me? Thanks.
