I only want to network in one direction (from 7.5 – 8.2). I read somewhere that you can do this by only turning on filesharing on the destination system, which would be in OSX. I’ll give it a try and see what happens.

Is this a common problem? I’m about to switch to OSX and I have alot of footage I’ll have to redigitize if thats the case.
