    DV deck compatability?

    I’m finally upgrading to 8.2 and I want to get the DV option but, my deck (JVC BR-DV3000) is not on the compatability list on the M100 website. Has anyone used this deck on M100i? Does it work OK?

    Usually RS422 remote is much more precise (quicker) than FireWire control. Since the BR-DV3000 has RS422 remote I don

    It works with the Media 100i (Version 8.2.2) control through the firewire port and also the RS422 connection. Both work for me.

    I prefer to use the firewire into my DV option, but the RS-422 FOR MACHINE CONTROL. With this setup, my BR-DV3000 responds flawlessly to my 8.2 iXS.
